We as, Mercek Global Logistics & Freight Forwarding, had given our customers a promise to plant one tree for their every new shipment when we embarked on this journey. We said “hello” to the New Year on 31st of December 2022 by planting 46 trees on our customers’ behalf. We chose to make these donations to our country’s renowned environmentalist NGO: TEMA Foundation. Now, we’ll again collect from all the new shipments and when the time shows 30th of June 2023, we’ll again make our donations for trees to TEMA and deliver to our customers their certificates. Periodically, on an every six months period we’ll be realizing this “social Project” of ours, in fact it is more of a “Duty” than a “Project”. Our purpose is to change the mentality that has been so irresponsibly imposed on and so wrongly interpreted by the consumerist society; that the World is our “playground”. Instead, we aim to implament the consciousness that the World is to be approached with awareness and responsibility; and we must, in all our actions show respect, love and care, to our borrowed Home.
